Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) is a trade association of Canada’s oil and natural gas producers. Its members together produce about 90 per cent of Canada's natural gas and crude oil. CAAP also has associate members who provide services that support the upstream crude oil and natural gas industry.
Canada is considered a Top 5 petroleum producing country in the World (according to the US Dept of Energy).

CAPP's mission is to advocate for and enable economic competitiveness and safe, environmentally and socially responsible performance by oil & gas industry. CAPP represents the Canadian upstream oil and gas industry’s collective opinion to the government, regulatory and other agencies. It acts as an interface and influences on policy issues for healthy growth of the industry. CAPP also organizes seminars, workshops, conferences and symposia on oil & gas industry.
