What does Futures Pack mean?
A futures order that contains a group of futures contracts and allows the investor to buy a predetermined amount of futures contracts within a period of four consecutive months. Different colors are used to differentiate each group of contracts such as red, white, blue and green.

A manufacturer can ensure availability of raw materials at a predetermined price by purchasing a future pack. For example, a refinery can buy a futures pack for crude oil in July for delivery in August, September, October and November.
